Birthday Hell

Is it me or it normal to get completly stressed out about a child's birthday. Son1 is 5 today, haven't seen him today yet as he is still with the outlaws. Boss reminded me this morning that I hadn't actually rung him to say HB! Presents wrapped, food bought, entertainment sort of sorted, invasion to happen at 4pm....wine pre-chilled in the fridge! Two bottles are ready as I have a secondary invasion from all the outlaws family coming at 6pm. Need to be drunk by quarter past!

Boss is talking technical with Caravan Club today, so hoping to get an affiliation with WantToLearnIt confirmed today. Blog written for the British Computer Society is being finalised and will add this later today-will be good to see if we get any reactions/feedback.

Post Bank Holiday

Have decided to start blogging about my role at work as I have been thrown into the world of social marketing and it is a megga learning curve. Just had 8 months out of work from redundancy and chasing my tail a bit in terms of getting to grips with social marketing and trying to make some inroads into the IT Training World. It is super competative! Went from working for a company who were industry creators and innovators to the complete opposite but WantToLearnIT definitly has a niche, just need to dig a bit deeper to make it work.

So it's back to work after a manic weekend. Got a text from the out-law this morning to say my son woke up at 5.30am LOL! Its been 6 weeks into the job now and I had emails in my inbox...yey me! Its so frustrating I really believe in the brand and the ideology behind WantToLearnIT.com and its just conveying it the ROTW! Must make the brain work harder. Getting to grips with the whole Twitter experience and slowly getting some fans so must be doing something right! However this morning SavvyCitizens have agreed for me to blogg on their site about getting back to training so a real result.
